对于DeFi用户或链上游戏玩家来说，并不是所有人都希望通过电子邮件或手机号码来接收通知，所以有了链上通信机制。链上信息还可以带来正向经济外部性，这在具备这种通信能力之前是不可能的。
我们是在里斯本的Solana Breakpoint会议上第一次见到Dialect的创始人Chris Osborn。 他是一位连续创业者，也是Y Combinator的校友。过去几个月来，我们密切合作，认真思考信息传递的设计空间。

- 假名直接信息推送——根据提供有偿任务或查询个人的过去活动或凭证去ping一个地址。因为有助于找到合适的人，并能更好地完成工作，提供机会的一方愿意为信息付费；如果他/她想要持续接收这些付费任务，他/她也可能愿意间接为这些消息付费。这种链上信息提供了全新的劳动者与工作之间的匹配价值。
- 可验证消息—与钱包关联的消息可以在链上验证，这意味着用户第一次可以确认他们收到消息的来源和真实性。
- 有条件的跨dapp动作—X协议监控某些参数的变化，如果B事件发生则通知用户做A事件(例如将资金从X协议移动到Y协议)，操作行为可以作为按钮附加到通知UI的消息中。
- 营销活动监控--当一款游戏或产品想要在一段时间内测试一项新功能时，可能会有一些关于谁有资格进行测试的标准。该游戏可以监控链上的活动或使用Dialect的地址凭证，并在地址符合条件时实现独家试用访问。
- 赏金猎人—通过类似于Earn.com的劳动力市场(如社区游戏)，寻找工作的用户可以注册付费任务，并在其通知用户界面中接收可操作的消息或线索挖掘链接。
- Twitter Bots——Dialect区块链监控工具包也可用于监控条件事件协议，并定制接收通知的时间、地点和方式。一个完美的例子是由Dialect开发的Saber Wars机器人。
- DAO管理—由于管理工具(如Squads)都集成了Dialect，DAO可以向其子DAO广播操作通知。例如，DeFi协议可以向其核心贡献者的子DAO广播快照投票链接，并单独向一般主体广播staking链接。
- 链上OTC平台——当对冲基金希望在链上做空连锁长尾资产时，通常无法获得流动性。如果可以在一个门户网站注册，获取链上OTC买盘和卖盘，他们就可以从这个门户网站获得通知，比如如何从那些Telegram OTC渠道接收OTC消息。
- 一键式游戏内资产融资--如今，游戏内资产的租借和租赁流程通常是手动操作的。通过集成到NFT租赁协议/单贷款池，或者直接集成达到提供这些功能的公会管理系统，公会可以轻松管理借给/租给玩家的资产。公会管理工具还可以将到期通知与延期操作或智能合同强制撤销相结合。
- 社交交易——当聊天室将Dialect与NFT市场和代币交换配置在一起，并允许参与者通过消息中的链接在聊天中进行原生购买时，”模仿”体验会更加顺畅。这种需求很自然，因为当人们在聊天中间谈到资产时，往往希望购买资产。
曾有过加密本地聊天和通知服务的多次尝试，但是所有这些尝试都没有抓住机会：1)将(可验证的)消息放在链上，2)让这些消息可以跨dapps和其他端点进行原生组合。对于这些项目，通知就是产品。对于Dialect来说，通知是将智能信息编织到加密结构的手段。
