Feliz domingo a todos. Con todo el dinero que se está imprimiendo en el mundo, pensé que sería un buen momento para hablar de Bitcoins y criptomonedas. Invité a Kyle Samani al podcast porque tiene un gran conocimiento de la tecnología y los productos. He sido un socio limitado personal en su fondo desde 2017 y, hasta ahora, ellos han producido resultados positivos para mí, incluyendo el brutal mercado bajista en criptomonedas que comenzó en enero de 2018. Dato curioso: Kyle comenzó a programar cuando tenía 10 años. Siendo hijo de un ingeniero informático, Kyle fomentó su fascinación por el software a una edad temprana. Esto ha guiado una pasión permanente a lo largo de su vida.
A qué se debe el Pánico:
Si mi invitado termina el episodio diciendo que quiere entrar en pánico «con más frecuencia», creo que habré hecho un buen trabajo como anfitrión. El invitado al que me refiero en este caso es Kyle Samani. Kyle es el fundador y socio gerente de Multicoin Capital, una firma que invierte en todo lo relacionado con las criptomonedas (incluyendo empresas y tokens). Las criptomonedas pueden parecer a veces una cosa abstracta de la que la gente o está cansada de hablar o no quiere tomarse el tiempo de entender. Nadie se toma el tiempo para realmente mostrar y explicar, pero Kyle hace precisamente eso en este episodio. Me divertí mucho hablando con él en este episodio mientras discutía la historia de las criptomonedas y la inversión en ellas, la descentralización, la Web3, las cadenas de bloques y sus predicciones para el futuro de las criptomonedas. Felicito a Kyle por haber sobrevivido al mercado bajista de criptomonedas en 2018 y 2019. Kyle tiene un punto de vista muy interesante sobre este tema. ¡Espero que para el final de este episodio hayas aprendido algo nuevo (y te sientas tal vez menos intimidado por las criptomonedas)!
La moraleja:
Aunque las criptomonedas son muy volátiles, no van a desaparecer pronto (Kyle explica por qué el Bitcoin podría tener problemas). Kyle cree que finalmente veremos un caso de uso de consumidor que la gente amará para finales del próximo año. El/los producto/s transformará/n la forma en que creamos y adquimos valor.
